Staying at the Chateau

The grounds

There are seven acres of beautiful mature grounds surrounding the chateau. 

The flowers in the spring and summer are fabulous and offer some great opportunities for photographs. 

The beautiful heated swimming pool is set in its own area of the garden which is fenced off and kept locked for security. It has a shaded terrace where you can sit and relax with a drink or picnic lunch.

The pool slopes in depth from under a metre at the shallow steps to two and a half metres at the deep end. There are plenty of sun beds which you can choose to have in the shade or the sun. 

There is a wooded walkway which runs on three sides of the garden where in times past, the ladies would walk to protect themselves from the midday sun.

Once you leave the gates of the chateau there are many beautiful walks on green lanes which are great for jogging.
