Staying at the Chateau
Location
The chateau is located in the Allier which is the northern part of the Auvergne in the centre of France.
Getting there
It is approximately 3 ½ hours by motorway or train from Paris and the nearest station is in Montlucon 25 minutes away. If you are travelling from the channel ports it will take you approximately 7 hours to drive from Calais or Zeebrugge.
The nearest airport is at Claremont Ferrand 40 minutes away. However this
airport has no direct flights from the UK , you have to change in Paris.
The airport we use is Limoges which has frequent flights from all corners of
the UK via Ryanair and is an easy 1hour 45 minute drive across country.
